St. Francis Methodist School

College Introduction:

St. Francis Methodist School is one of two legitimate private church schools registered with the Ministry of Education in Singapore. The school was formerly known as St. Francis Girls' School (founded in 1960). In December 1994, it joined the Methodist Church and was renamed St. Francis Church School, starting to enroll boys. The school upholds and carries forward the traditional spirit of excellence in education of the Methodist Church, while also striving to create an ideal educational environment to complement high-quality teaching and develop into the best private secondary school in Singapore.

Education system:

St. Francis Methodist Secondary School in Singapore has well-equipped facilities and a highly qualified faculty to meet the growing number of students and their needs. This school was one of the first seven private colleges to obtain the Singapore Ministry of Education's qualification for quality education in June 2003. Subsequently, St. Francis High School was awarded ISO9001 certification, Human Resources Development Award, Singapore Innovation Level School, and Singapore Education Service Quality Award.

St. Francis Methodist Secondary School in Singapore offers all courses from Grade 1 to Level A. Consistent with government public schools in the entire teaching system, and surpassing public schools in teaching quality. The school achieved excellent results in Cambridge O-level and A-level exams, with a student enrollment rate of 85% at O-level and 80% at A-level, which is better than government secondary schools and junior colleges. Since its establishment, it has nurtured tens of thousands of students, enabling them to obtain "A" or "O" level education certificates from Cambridge University and smoothly enter local or overseas universities for further studies.

In addition to modern classrooms, the school also has a bookstore, restaurant, library, laboratory, IT laboratory, multipurpose hall, and gym. English Fundamentals Course:

This course is a compulsory course designed specifically for foreign students with weaker English proficiency. The school holds English intensive classes for students at all levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) every semester. The purpose of this specialized course is to lay a solid foundation for students to enhance their understanding of other subjects.

Admission requirements:

Foreign students applying to this school must meet the admission standards set by the school in terms of their scores in English and mathematics. Although the school does not have an admission age limit, the appropriate age for applying for the first year of high school is generally between 12-15 years old. Based on admission scores, the school reserves the final decision on the admission of students to the class.
