SANYUADVENTIST SCHOOL, a primary and secondary school in Singapore

School Introduction:

SANYUADVENTIST SCHOOL is a full-time school established by the merger of SANYUADVENTIST Secondary School (founded in 1958) and Church School (founded in 1908) in 1996. It is a Christian church school in Singapore, consisting of primary, secondary, and high schools It is the only autonomous school approved by the Singapore Ministry of Education to offer secondary education, primary education, and preparatory courses simultaneously. All teachers have qualifications recognized by the government's Ministry of Education. Full time schools adopt textbooks prescribed by the Singapore Ministry of Education, and graduates can participate in the graduation exams organized by the Ministry of Education, as well as the Cambridge "O" and "A" level exams in the UK, just like students in Singapore's government primary and secondary schools. Excellent high school graduates can enroll in Singapore government's polytechnics, junior colleges, or overseas university preparatory programs. All high schools offer four-year fast track programs, and overage students can also enroll.

Singapore's San Yu Primary and Secondary Schools consist of two schools. San Yu High School was established in 1958, while Seventh day Church School was established in 1908. Two schools merged in August 1996, and the school name was changed to San Yu Primary and Secondary School in 1997. San Yu Adventist School provides primary, secondary, and higher education. Meanwhile, San Yu Adventist School is appointed by the Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE) to handle two national examination centers in Singapore - the Primary School Leaving Certificate (PSLE) and the GCE O'Level Certificate. After completing secondary school, students can choose to attend Junior Colleges or Polytechnics in Singapore based on their exam scores, or directly apply to study at universities or colleges in Australia or the United States.
